The world premiere of my latest commission “Lilly” inspired by Sam Gilliam’s painting of the same name. Written for jazz trio + string quartet, it will be premiered by Tom Palmer, piano; Rob Swanson, bass; Jonathan W. Whitney, drums; and we will be joined by the Taconic Music String Quartet.
